EastEnders really has had fans on the edge of their seats all year long. Ever since the Christmas flash forward scene was released earlier in February 2023, fans have been on a wild ride trying to speculate who dies on Christmas Day. Who kills them and why? Well, the secret is no longer a secret. In a thrilling Christmas special episode, the BBC One soap spilled it all!
The episode started with “The Six” women facing their own personal struggles that eventually brought them together at The Vic on EastEnders. Phil stopped Keanu and Sharon’s wedding and told the bride the truth about Keanu having kidnapped Albie. Shocked, Sharon slapped Keanu right across his face and called off the wedding. Although, not before letting the truth about Albie’s paternity slip out in the heat of the moment. Later, at The Vic, she agrees to let Phil have a relationship with Albie.
Elsewhere, in Walford, Nish is released from custody, and he returns home to launch an attack on Suki. However, Ravi manages to hold him back long enough on EastEnders to allow Suki enough time to escape. She dashes out of the house and makes a run for The Vic. With Nish soon tailing her. Meanwhile, Denise decides she is done with Jack and heads to the Vic too. Linda, Kathy, and Sharon arrive shortly as well.
Once Suki arrives at The Vic, the other ladies encourage her to call Nish there on EastEnders. Each one of them pledged their support to help Suki face him. Once Nish arrives, Suki bravely tells him that it is over between them. After going through a range of emotions- threat to coercion to pleading, Nish suddenly attacks and tries to kidnap Suki. But Denise smashes his head with a bottle to save Suki. Stunned and scared, Suki tries to wake Nish up.
Meanwhile, Keanu arrives at The Vic and demands Sharon to give Albie to him. But Sharon defiantly tells him that he will never see Albie again on EastEnders. Livid, Keanu grabs Sharon’s throat and tries to choke her to death. But Linda appears from behind and stabs Keanu. Just as he falls down in a pool of blood, Nish resumes breathing. The episodes end with death looming over Keanu as Linda stands over him as the killer.
