While Emmerdale fans were expecting Victoria Barton and Jacob Gallagher’s honeymoon period to last longer, they are facing troubles already. In the recent episode, we saw an evident shift in Jacob’s mood. His behaviour makes Victoria worry about him losing interest in her.
Jacob and Victoria recently started dating after sharing a kiss. Since then, they have been spotted spending nights together. However, they have decided to keep their relationship under wraps for now. The biggest question lingering around their relationship was: What will happen if David Metcalfe (Victoria’s ex) gets to know about their relationship? But now it has changed to questioning the sustainability of their relationship.
Emmerdale: Victoria Upset With Jacob’s Behaviour
After a sudden change in Jacob’s behaviour without any explanation, the future of their relationship worries Victoria. She is afraid that Jacob may have lost interest in her. Jacob’s moods suddenly changed after this week as he realised that he was hiding secrets, and he understood the stress of the situation. Later, in order to distract himself, Jacob decides to enjoy some time with Victoria, and they take the risk of holding hands publicly. Suddenly, Jacob’s dad, David Metcalfe, appears, and they spring apart. After this incident, Jacob ghosted Victoria without giving any reason.
According to a report by Digital Spy, Emmerdale star Joe-Warren Plant (Jacob) shared an upcoming storyline. He said, “Jacob knows that Leyla can be quite nosy in his business, and he picks up on that. Earlier, when she said she was going to find out who his girlfriend was. She definitely meant it. Joe added that this is the reason Jacob is super scared about the possibility of anyone finding out – not just Leyla and David, but everybody else in the village because people gossip and talk.
Emmerdale star Joe called Jacob smart and said that he knows how to hide things from people. But at times, he does things he is passionate about without giving much thought. Joe declared the situation tough for Jacob as he may leave some trails behind or put himself in a situation that isn’t right for him. Talking about Jacob and Victoria’s relationship, she is not yet aware of the reason behind his behavioural change. Will she try to find it and make up with Jacob?
