Emmerdale Star Alexander Lincoln Returns Back To The TV
Alexander Lincoln, popularly known for his character Jamie Tate in Emmerdale, made a surprising return to soaps. But hold on, because this time, he has not reprised his iconic Emmerdale role. Instead, Lincoln is making a cameo appearance on BBC One’s Doctors.
Fans may recall Lincoln’s performance in Emmerdale from the year 2019 to 2021. He was part of some of the biggest storylines, including faking his own death plot. Now, he will be seen in the role of Joel Tanner in Doctors. He made his debut on January 31, 2024. On Doctors, while Joel was seeking accommodation, he tried to get in touch with Emma Reid for her Airbnb.
However, since Emma was in Australia, Luca McIntyre had to cancel his night out, in order to entertain Joel. As the night continued, shockingly, Joel and Luca ended up kissing. Later, Joel returned when Luca was away, and Maria Jaziri took over hosting duties. Guess what? Joel locked lips with Maria, too.
In the upcoming week, Luca and Maria discover the truth, leading to a confrontation between the three. How will Joel react to being caught playing them both? Additionally, Alexnaders’s fellow Emmerdale alum Gemma Oaten makes her way back to the Doctors, too. Gemma started her TV career with Doctors, and now she has returned to the soap once again.
Labeling it a ‘training ground’ for new actors, Gemma praised the show for giving newbies a chance.
