Spencer Cassadine seemed like the apple that fell far from the Cassadine tree on General Hospital. The young heir of the Cassadine clan may have some anger issues, but he has, for the most part, walked the straight and narrow. His heart and mind also have largely remained on the right side. However, in light of the current spot that he seems stuck in with Ace and Esme, his Cassadine genes might start to show shade. But what would that mean for him? Are we about to see a darker side of Spencer? Will he manipulate Esme into marrying him so he can gain Ace’s custody?
Spencer Hits A Snag In Custody Battle
Currently, on General Hospital, Spencer Cassadine wants nothing as bad as he wants the custody of his half-sibling, Ace. He has taken the legal route for the matter; however, it is such a slow process that the Cassadine heir is losing his patience. The more the custody battle stretches, the longer Esme will have to make her case stronger than Spencer’s. This is a definite thorn by his side. This makes us wonder if Spencer will soon start considering other means of taking Ace away from Esme.
Off-late, Spencer has been getting ominously close to his grand-uncle Victor “evil” Cassadine. And that is never good news. Especially since Victor has an interest in Ace, he will surely try to push Spencer to allow him to take matters in his control. However, Spencer might not want to resort to illegal means of gaining Ace’s custody just yet. Spencer Proposes Marriage To Esme On General Hospital
There was a time on General Hospital when Spencer was really into Esme. Well, he was the one who brought her to Port Charles. Although, we recently learned that Ryan had orchestrated the entire affair. He made Esme pursue Spencer as a route to Nik. And she did exactly that. But that doesn’t discount the fact that there was sure-shot chemistry between Spencer and Esme. Perhaps Spencer dear will decide to borrow a page from Esme and Ryan’s playbook and turn the tables on her!
Esme is suffering from amnesia at the moment and has no recollection of what she did and why she did those things on General Hospital. Spencer might use their old spark to come closer to Esme all over again. Make no mistake, though, Trina will always be his one true love. But a marriage of convenience is looking bright on the horizon right now. Spencer could totally fake a romance with Esme and manipulate her into marrying him. This would put him in a place of legally adopting Ace as his son. Once that is done, Trina could bring the charges back on the table, and Esme could be gone for a long time! Leaving a clear path for Spencer to get Sce’s custody.
