The mysterious world of General Hospital is always putting it’s characters at the center of some twisted plot or the other. These days, Anna Devane is finding herself embroiled in a high stakes thriller. She almost got burnt down when her house was set on fire by a malicious villain. This was the second attack that she thankfully dodged. However, despite many attempts by her, Dante and Sonny, the identity of the attacker has not been uncovered. But a massive twist could be waiting ahead for her. Some new intel might reveal that Anna was never the intended target of the assailants. In fact, the target could be Valentin! But why? Keep reading to find out!
A String Of Accusations Surrounds Valentin
The first conversation that Anna had with Sonny after the Metro Court shoot-out made her suspicious about her boyfriend on General Hospital. While discussing their possible enemies, Sonny mentioned some details about Pikeman. That immediately sent Anna’s spidey senses in a frenzy as she connected the dots between Pikeman and Valentin. With every passing episode, her suspicions regarding Valentin’s involvement with the security group kept growing.
In fact, Dante, too, seems convinced that Valentin Cassadine is hiding some very dark truths from them all on General Hospital. Some clues are even currently making it look like Valentin may have had something to do with the fire that engulfed Anna’s adobe. But is that really true? There is no doubt that Valentin is hiding something. Moreover, he lied about his whereabouts on the night of the arson. Dante has confirmed that he was lying about being at ELQ. But just because he is keeping secrets does not mean he is the villain out to get Anna!
Valentin Cassadine The Real Target On General Hospital
Perhaps, the real attackers intentionally lured Valentin away from the location that they were soon going to turn into a crime scene on General Hospital. Valentin and Anna’s relationship is no secret. Thus, there is a possibility that Pikeman burnt down Anna’s house just to send a message to Valentin about who’s got the real power. This theory sits well with the fact that the person who started the fire actually waited for Anna to leave before lighting the match. So it is clear that the real intention was to send a threatening message and not exactly to harm Anna.
Thus, this rules out any of Anna’s enemies by a large margin. Because if they were trying to kill her on General Hospital, they would’ve set her house ablaze while she was still inside. Or, they could have attacked her when she was out for her run. But what actually happened was a clear power move! And currently, it feels like the attackers are flexing their power to intimidate Valentin. This also ties neatly with the spoilers about Valentin sharing a warning with Sonny about not backing out of the Pikeman deal.
Perhaps the security group is trying to show that they are capable of severe destruction if rubbed the wrong way. What do you think? Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for more General Hospital updates on this!
