General Hospital: Brook And Chase Are Coming Closer, Will This Romance Survive?

General Hospital

General Hospital viewers know that Brook and Chase have been dancing around the line of romance for a long time now. Every time they inch closer, something happens, and they decide to make the distance. However, it looks like things are finally changing.

With the “Bailey” truth now out, Brook is distraught. Chase will be the person Brook will lean on, and it looks like they will take a step towards the romance that they desperately need to take. What would happen? Here is everything about it.

“Bailey”/Louise Truth Is Out, Brook Is Distraught

General Hospital viewers who are keeping up with the soap know that the whole “Bailey”/Louise secret is out. Maxie, Brook, and Chase had to tell everyone the truth because they needed to save the baby. However, while everything is out in the open, it also means that Brook will have to give up the baby.

While Brook always knew that “Bailey” would go away at some point, knowing something and going through something are two very different things. Now that Brook has to go through all this pain, she is distraught. In the February 16, 2022, episode of General Hospital, viewers got to see Brook and Chase returning from the hospital after handing over Louise to Mac and Scorpio.

Brook was clearly distraught. Brook wasn’t “Bailey’s” bio-mother, but she did take care of the baby like it was her own. So, it is something that will give Brook more pain than she had thought. Chase will be by her side trying to help her through, and things might take a romantic turn there.

Chase Decides To Stick By Brook, Storyline Takes A Romantic Storyline?

In the same episode, as a distraught Brook walks into her home, she feels that Chase will also leave her. She suggests that since “Bailey” is gone, they should pack Chase’s stuff too. After all, she was the only reason why Chase was living with her in the first place. However, Chase assures her that he isn’t going anywhere.

He tells Brook that whatever she is feeling is valid, and he understands what it feels like when one has to say goodbye to someone they really love. Then, Brook tells him that she doesn’t want to let go of another person she loves. Both Brook and Chase come in very close proximity, where they almost kiss.

However, the kiss is interrupted when Felicia shows up at their door. She comes there with Louise. Since Felicia and Mac are strangers to the baby, they will want her to have the closest thing to her mother. Maxie is with Peter in a hostage situation. So, she comes to give the baby to Brook and Chase.

While that might have ended there, General Hospital spoilers suggest that this storyline isn’t over yet. Brook and Chase will most probably continue coming closer, and they might finally enter the romantic territory.

General Hospital: Brook And Chase Become The New Couple In Town?

Given how General Hospital is moving forward with this storyline, it is likely that they are setting them together for a romance. Brook is single, and so is Chase. So, putting the two of them together isn’t outrageous. They will bond on their common love for “Bailey.” Not only that, both of them have been friends for a very long. So, all of this could make them a great couple.
