Soap operas never leave a chance to celebrate their legacy couples, and one of the favorite couples of General Hospital were Frisco and Felicia Jones. On January 26, 1990, i.e., 32 years ago, Frisco and Felicia rekindled their love for each other during their second wedding. It is believed that sometimes two people have to fall apart to realize how much they need to fall back together. That is exactly what Felicia and Frisco did. And, General Hospital took the liberty to celebrate the long loving marriage of their supercouple.
Their love began when they first married in 1986, and they had a private honeymoon in a penthouse. Soon after that, Frisco graduated and went undercover for the WSB in 1988. When Frisco didn’t come back for years, Felicia presumed that he had died. Felicia felt traumatized and heartbroken. After a few years, she fell in love with Lucy’s cousin Colton. On the day when Felicia and Colton decided to get married, Frisco made a sudden return to Port Charles. Felicia could not deny her love for Frisco. So, they remarried. This seems like the perfect love story.
After their second marriage in 1990, Felicia and Frisco went to Europe, where Frisco once again went undercover. Long-time viewers know that while Frisco was away, Felicia was kidnapped by Cesar, and then she was saved by her hero, Frisco himself. Then, Frisco’s work started making things worse for them, which led to Felicia running away. The couple reunited again when Felicia was pregnant with their daughter Maxie in 1991. But, Frisco’s work still created chaos in their marriage, so they finally got a divorce. Since then, Felicia and Frisco were off the canvas.
However, Felicia recently made a comeback on the show, and she is trying to be there for her daughter Maxie. Since Felicia is back on the ABC show, there are speculations that Frisco might also make a huge comeback. In an interview in 2019 with Soap Opera Digest, when asked about Frisco’s return, actress Kristina Wagner (Felicia Jones) said, “If he came back today, oh, my God, we would have so much fun.”
With all that’s happening now in Port Charles, it looks like General Hospital is building to something like Frisco’s return. If anything like that is on the cards, it seems like the perfect time for Frisco to come back. With his daughter Maxie being a mess and her former love, Felicia trying to find her granddaughter, they could always use an extra hand who is willing to go another mile for them.
