General Hospital viewers who have been keeping up would know that there is a lot of speculation on whether or not Peter August is back. The Monday episode of the soap opera saw a man who looked awfully like Peter spying and following Maxie Jones in Nixon Falls. Until now, everyone thought that Peter was dead.
Viewers would recall that back in July 2021, Finn and Anna went to look for Peter in the freezer, where Finn and Liz had kept his corpse after he supposedly died from falling down the stairs. Since then, the boy was missing. But now, it looks like he is alive and is coming back.
Recently, Peter portrayer Wes Ramsey took onto his Instagram and Twitter to post stuff that looked like a confirmation of his comeback. In one of his recent tweets, the actor says that he is humbled by the positive responses from the fans. He continues to say that General Hospital fans always give their truth. So, he promises that he will continue to give his everything and keep the viewers entertained. Then, he put hashtags like “GH” “Get Ready” on the post. If this isn’t a confirmation, we don’t know what is.
The actor posted yet another picture on his Instagram handle that looked like a screengrab of himself from the latest episode of General Hospital. He captioned the picture with, “Let the games… commence! In the post, he used the hashtag “Peter August.” This seems like yet another hint. So, it does looks like he is coming back.
General Hospital fans seemed to be quite divided on this comeback. One of Peter’s fans says that they were screaming YES by the end of the latest episode. They are very happy that Peter is alive. They can’t wait to see all the destruction that Peter will cause now. Appreciating the actor, the fan says that Wes plays the role perfectly. They welcomed him back almost from the dead. Another fan says that they are absolutely thrilled that Peter is back. They praised Wes Ramsey and called him an amazing actor. This fan also says that they think that Peter and Maxie belong together. They are excited to see how everything goes from here.
While some fans seemed really happy, others did not like the idea of Peter coming back.
