And when he comes back, he will shake everything up. GH viewers who have been keeping up with the soap know that there is a lot of cop drama is already rolling out on the soap opera. Robert Scorpio is already trying to find Peter August, and Anna is involved in the whole thing too. So, adding more to it, Detective Scorpio will come in and shake everything up.

John J. York recently took onto his social media to inform his fans that he has come to the General Hospital studio to record more scenes. He posted a quick selfie in the studio parking lot with the show’s name written on the outside of a building. He captioned the picture with “Detective Scorpio… reporting for duty.”

General Hospital viewers would know that York plays the character of Mac Scorpio. Soaps in Depth recalls that the last time viewers got to see him was back in June. He had shown up in the hospital to check up on Maxie. Mac had also promised her that he would do everything he had to in order to get the baby back from Peter. He, of course, didn’t know that the baby was actually with Brook Lynn and all of this was Maxie’s plan. However, now, he is coming back, and we will have to wait to see what his storyline will be.

Keeping in mind how General Hospital manages its shooting schedule, if York has gone now for the shoot, he will most probably make an onscreen appearance sometime in late November. Would he be coming in for a Thanksgiving celebration? Or maybe he might come back to help Robert Scorpio and Anna deal with the whole Peter August drama.

Then, there are speculations that the baby sweep secret will be exposed this November. So, would Mac come in to help Maxie? We will have to wait to know. Whatever the case might be, we know that York is coming back, and he will bring in a lot of drama to General Hospital with him. So, make sure you tune in.
