The latest General Hospital Comings and Goings spoilers reveal that actor Rif Hutton who plays Lenny Hutton on the soap opera, has left the daytime. In the soap opera, he passed away because of cancer. Viewers last saw him this Friday, August 13, 2021. Hutton first joined the soap opera in January 2021. And unfortunately, he recently came to know that he had pancreatic cancer. Not just that, he was supposed to go through with the surgery in August. But now, Lenny succumbed to his illness and died in his sleep this Friday.
Now that Hutton is out, his co-stars took the opportunity to bid goodbye to him. Recently, Joyce Guy, who portrays Lenny’s wife Phyllis at General Hospital, shared few pictures with Hutton during his last day on the set. The snaps included other members, including Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) and Frank Valentini (The EP of General Hospital). In the caption, Joyce thanked Rif. She says that it was such complete joy and pleasure to work with him on General Hospital. She says that Riff’s Lenny was the perfect husband. It was a wonderful run. As reported by Soap Opera Spy, not only Joyce but Maurice Benard also shared a touching video with Hutton on his side. In the video, he described Hutton as an incredible actor who has taught him a lot. Benard captioned the photo with, “As an actor sometimes you work with people who you connect with right away Rif Is one of those actors, It is his soul and history that speaks to me.”
This wasn’t the only soap opera that Hutton has been a part of. He had appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful back in 1989. He was also a part of Days of Our Lives in 1990. Fans might also remember him from films like Tribes, JAG, Dark Shadows, and Night Court. It was real fun to see Hutton in action, but sadly, it is time to say goodbye.
