She had gotten trapped in a gas-filled basement while trying to solve the Naomi Dreyfus case. That led to Jordan collapsing. She was brought to the hospital, where Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt called her family and friends. After that, he announced that her kidney had stopped functioning, and then she was sent to a special renal clinic in Albany, New York. But now, it looks like the character’s role is being taken over. So, Jordan will come back.
