General Hospital Spoilers suggest that some SHOCKING RUMORS are making rounds regarding some cast shakeups. If the speculations from Twitter are to be believed, fan-favorite Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan on the soap opera, is all set to exit. Not only Burton, Jax portrayer Ingo Rademacher is out of the soap too. All of this has been because of the mandatory vaccination to prevent COVID from affecting anyone on the soaps. Many of General Hospital’s cast members have got themselves vaccinated. However, there are some members who yet got the vaccination.
Back in August, Nancy Lee Grahn took onto her social media and revealed that General Hospital is the ONLY Daytime serial that has mandated vaccines. She applauded Frank Valentini (the producer), ABC Network, and Disney Studios. Disney that owns ABC, has taken up a strong position in fighting this virus. Grahn also revealed that as of November 1, 2021, everyone would need a proper vaccine card to enter the sets.
Coming to why Steve and Ingo are being let go, GH fans who keep up with the stars would have seen Ingo Rademacher opening voicing his opinion about this mandate. He is against the idea and isn’t shy to speak about it. It doesn’t come as a shock that he could leave.
There isn’t a lot left for Jax on the soap opera anyway. Nina Reeves has moved on, Sonny has returned, and Josslyn is busy with her life. She doesn’t necessarily need her dad around now. So, we can imagine that General Hospital would write him out.
However, some spoilers suggest that some shocking exits might be on the cards. So, let’s dig into it. Some reliable Twitter accounts tease that Steve Burton might be on his way out. This will be a huge deal. Steve is one of the biggest stars on the show and right now, he is also a part of some central storylines. As per Celebdirtylaundry.com reports, some soap insiders hint that a major exit is in the works other than Rademacher. And, all signs point towards Steve.
Some insiders also insist that GH legal team is working out the contracts for these exits. Whatever the case might be, if Jason leaves, it will leave everything shaken up.
