Portia’s Betrayal Pushes Curtis Into Another Woman’s Arms
A relationship can survive on a lowered dose of love, but, never on shattered trust. And that’s exactly what’s happening with Portia and Curtis. When Curtis and Portia re-entered each other’s romantic orbit, she decided to keep a massive secret from him. Ions ago, when Portia and Curtis were a thing, and so were Portia and Taggert, she conceived a baby. Since she had been intimate with both men in close proximity, she had to make a judgment call on who the dad could be. She chose to side with her husband, Taggert. Thus, Trina grew up believing him to be her father.
However, there was a fair chance that Curtis could be her dad, but Portia hid that truth from him on General Hospital. Jordan Ashford kept pushing her to tell him the truth, but she paid no heed. Jordan gave her a fair warning that it was secrets that blew up her marriage with Curtis, and Portia might suffer the same fate if she sat on the truth for far too long. And that’s exactly what happened! When the truth came out right after the nuptials, Curtis walked out on his bride! Although he hasn’t divorced her or asked for an annulment, he seems to be in no mood for reconciliation. Moreover, after what happened in Thursday’s episode, the only reconciliation he may have might be with another woman!
Jordan and Curtis Reignite Old Romance On General Hospital
Back in November 2018, Curtis said, “I DO,” to Jordan on General Hospital. The two had a short-lived marriage that fell apart in May 2021. Later, Curtis found love with Portia Robinson. However, it seems Curtis’ marriage is jinxed to be short-lived. For, his marriage with Portia lasted all of 5 minutes before he walked out on her. And now, it seems that it may end in a divorce. In fact, Curtis may have already taken his first step toward a new romance! In the May 18, 2023 episode, Curtis poured his heart out to his ex-wife, Jordan.
He admitted to her that he is second-guessing his decision for a DNA test with Trina on General Hospital. However, Jordan calmed him down by assuring him that he has taken the right choice and everything will smoothen over. In fact, she made him so comfortable that he leaned in for a steamy and passionate kiss. Moreover, he didn’t just stop there, he suggested to Jordan that they should take the rest of it, elsewhere! If Curtis and Jordan do hit the sheets in the upcoming episodes, it may prove to be the last nail in the coffin for his and Portia’s marriage.
