General Hospital’s latest spoilers reveal that the soap opera is bringing a new face of Jordan Ashford on the soap opera. As per the reports, Actress/ Model Tanisha Harper is joining the cast of ABC Soap. She is coming in to replace Briana Nicole Henry as Jordan Ashford.
Tanisha Harper will make her debut in March. In addition, She will be playing the role of Port Charles Commissioner. Tanisha will be replacing Briana Nicole Henry, who played Jordan for three years and left the show in September 2021. Moreover, Henry shared an Instagram post. The post said it was time to “move on” from the daytime drama.
Soap fans would recall Harper from her role of Heather in the short-lived myNetworkTV telenovela style primetime series “Desire,” Harper has appeared on “The Bold And The Beautiful,” “Dear White People,” “Hacks,” and more recently in “Dollface,” among others. Other than acting, Harper has also worked as a professional model. Plus, NTA Talent Agency and Maxx Management rep her.
The actress took to his Instagram and shared the interview she gave to Deadline. Tanisha wrote, “Rules were meant to be broken…because if they weren’t I wouldn’t have a job! Looking forward to my new series regular role as Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford on General Hospital weekdays on ABC,”. It looks like Harper is excited to join the cast.
General Hospital viewers know that the last time we saw Jordan, she was sent to a medical facility in Albany. She was in Albany for her dialysis and the rest of her treatment and recovery. When Jordan left Port Charles, the doctors were sure that she would get better.
Now, it seems like the PCPD Commissioner is all set to come back to Port Charles all healthy and resume her duties. Tanisha Harper’s will take over the role in March. In addition, we know Jordan will receive a warm welcome from soap opera fans.
