We still haven’t completely recovered from the heartbreaking passing of Dr. Britt on General Hospital. The reformed braveheart lost her life while saving Joss from the deranged hook killer. Even though we knew that Kelly Thiebaud was up for an exit, especially owing to Britt’s Huntington’s diagnosis, it was enthralling and satisfying to see the iconic character go out a hero. However, that fitting end did very little to limit our hope of seeing the acting powerhouse Kelly back on the screen!
If you too vibe with us in wanting to see her back on TV, then you are in luck! We have some exciting news to share with you. Although first things first, owing to Britt’s very well established death on-screen, it is highly unlikely that she would return to General Hospital. Unless of course, the Soap Gods find a way of undoing history. And pull off an incredible back from the grave story! But even if that isn’t possible, it doesn’t mean our hopes of seeing Kelly Thiebaud onscreen are quashed!
The talented General Hospital alum recently celebrated her 41st birthday. To mark the occasion, she shared a heart-felt message with her fans and followers on X. Kelly thanked them for writing her the wonderful birthday wishes, but also apologized for not being too active on the social media platform. “It feels like my birthday all over again!” she enthused. Furthermore, she tipped off her fans and followers on her hopes of booking some exciting new gigs as soon as the strikes are off.
Can We See Kelly Thiebaud On General Hospital Again?
“I miss being on ur [TV] but hopefully soon the strike will end and I’ll book something fantastic!”, Kelly assured everyone who has been looking forward to seeing her onscreen again. Including us, of course! We really hope that she does book a new project soon. Moreover, going by her Instagram updates, she looks in great shape too! Kelly recently shared on the media sharing platform that she has signed up for a 10k race! That really does sound incredible. Alongside the message she shared a picture of herself training for the run, which is slated to take place on September, 19, 2023.
We wish Kelly Thiebaud all the best for her race. As well as, all other endeavors she chooses to take up next. That being said, we still do hope to see her again on ABC’s General Hospital. Even if she can’t come back as Britt, she surely can portray an all new character. After all. we have seen that so many timed before.
