General Hospital: New Casting Shakeup, Emma Samms RETURNS!

Late last year, Emma Samms returned to General Hospital as Holly Sutton amidst much fanfare. However, Holly’s strange behavior and proximity to Victor raised a lot of eyebrows. Later it was revealed that Victor was twisting her arm into doing his bidding by holding her son Ethan hostage. In a very heartbreaking manner, Holly and Robert planned her escape, using a burning cabin as a smoke screen. When she first returned, fans were hoping to see Robert have a romantic union.

Unfortunately, that wish also went up in smoke when Holly had to escape Port Charles on General Hospital. However, there is indeed some good news for Emma Samms fans! The hot word on the streets is that the talented star is returning to General Hospital. She will pick up her character where she left it last. While, there hasn’t been any announcement of the same, the end credits in the recent episode gave it away! In the credit roll, fans eyes caught the name “Emma Samms as Holly Sutton.”

Are We About To Have A Holly-Robert Reunion On General Hospital?

In December 2022, during a Coastal Entertainment zoom fan gathering, the General Hospital star had teased that the probability of her return was high. The way her exit was shown in the soap, the door was left wide open for a fiery come back! Pun very much intended! Moreover, in the end teaser of the recent GH episode, Laura tells Felecia that things are going to blow up! We wonder if it is a hint that Holly is returning to seek vengeance on Victor for what he did to her the last time she was in Port Charles.
