General Hospital spoilers reveal that things might change for Nina & Sonny in the coming weeks on the soap. The viewers might expect some romance brewing up on the soap. The speculation has it that Sonny and Nina will give their relationship a fair chance.
Viewers know that Carly declared that her marriage with Sonny is over and Nina has been there waiting for Sonny for a while now. So, Sonny might tell Nina that he wants to start afresh with her. What would happen next? Keep reading to find out.
Carly & Sonny’s Marriage Is Over
For starters, GH viewers know that Sonny has been asking for forgiveness from Carly for a while now. We also know that Sonny was waiting for Carly on the Haunted Star with a grand gesture. But, then Carly stood him up. So, in his mind, he had lost her. Then, Nina visited Haunted Star to find a heartbroken Sonny, and he opened up to her about his true feelings.
Then, Carly walks in to find Nina and Sonny hitting the sheets, and she breaks down. At that point in time, Carly declared that her marriage with Sonny was over. Carly also wondered that she couldn’t fix a marriage involving three people. Now that everything is over with Sonny and Carly for real, Sonny might continue to incline towards Nina.
General Hospital: Sonny Accepts The Truth, Moves Forward With Nina
While Sonny didn’t waste any time hitting the sheets with Nina, his relationship with Carly is over for real. As Carly has made the declaration so Sonny might accept it and turn to Nina once again.
Spoilers of February 7, 2022, revealed that Sonny told Nina about his true feelings. He told her that he did try to forget everything that happened in Nixon Falls, but he couldn’t. Sonny also mentioned that he still has feelings for her. Sonny somewhat has the realization that Nina is very close to his heart, and he would give things between him and Nina a real shot.
First of all, Sonny might start by asking Nina on an official first date. GH viewers know that Sonny is a man who always makes grand gestures for the woman in his life, so Nina might be the one who will be on the receiving end now.
While Nina and Mike (Sonny) had their first date in Nixon Falls, now they will be Sonny and Nina in Port Charles, and Sonny remembers who he actually is. So with Carly and Sonny breaking up, Sonny might draw all the attention to Nina.
Will Sonny And Carly Really Break Up?
In regard to Sonny and Carly’s breakup, fans have not been happy with this storyline. Fans have also pointed out Sonny being a cheater and still continuing to be one. But, we can’t forget that Sonny was never the most loyal man. He has been with other women various times.
So, it is likely that Sonny and Carly might come back together again later down the line. However, if any of that happens, it won’t be so soon. But for now, Sonny may make a realization that he needs to give his relationship with Nina a fair chance and work on that.
