General Hospital recap for Friday, August 19, 2022, we saw Alexis ask her daughters to give her gossip. Sam told them about Dante’s proposal to move in. Alexis gave Sam some advice to help her make a decision. Dante talked about Sam with Olivia. She assured her it would be fine if he loved her so much.
Meanwhile, Cody and Britt met. They talked about their fathers and flirted with each other. Cody asked her to come to the picnic with him, and she agreed. Austin and Mason arrived in Port Charles. Maxie welcomed them and invited Mason to the picnic.
Sam Talks To Kelly And Alexis
In this episode of General Hospital, we saw Alexis seek updates on her daughters’ lives. Kristina, Molly, and Sam told her all about what was happening. Sam told her about Dante’s proposal to move in with him. As the Davis girls discussed it, Molly and Kristina suggested it could be a good thing, but Alexis knew the real issue was Lulu.
Sam struggled to live in the house where Lulu lived. Lulu’s presence was still felt in Dante’s house. Alexis mentioned Dante did it intentionally for Rocco’s sake. After this conversation, Sam left the room and tried to make a decision.
Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine mansion, Olivia finished a call to discuss the first annual Quartermaine picnic. This picnic was a fundraiser for the children’s wing of General Hospital. Olivia asked Dante about Sam. He told her things could be messy because he asked her to move in with him.
Furthermore, Dante confessed he felt he could have saved Lulu from her coma. Olivia blamed Cyrus Renault and Julian Jerome for what happened. She asked Dante how he felt about Sam. He confessed he loved her and wanted to make her happy. Dante felt very happy because Sam made him happy. Right then, Sam arrived. Dante invited her to the picnic and asked her to take the relationship at her pace.
General Hospital: Britt And Cody Flirt
At the stables, Britt thought about Cody’s interest in her father. She felt he had been secretive since Cesar had dirty deals with Leopold. Cody explained that he did not know that Leopold was his father for a long time. Moreover, when he found out Britt’s father was Cesar, he wanted to run away.
However, Britt’s kindness toward him when he was beaten up in the alley changed his heart. Cody loved her perfume, charming smile, and so many other things about her. Eventually, he convinced Britt to go on the picnic with him. Britt felt warm and gooey after their interaction and walked away.
Austin And Mason Arrive
Meanwhile, at the Metro Court pool, Damian confessed he was getting over Britt. He was starting to like Maxie. Austin returned from Pautuck and hugged Maxie. Mason arrived and asked Austin to introduce him to his friends.
Austin was not very happy to see Mason, but he knew they needed to stay close to each other. Mason wanted to stay and see the rest of Port Charles. Later, Maxie invited Mason to the picnic.
