General Hospital recap for Friday, July 29, 2022, relayed the story of Dex and Michael. They pretended to fight so that Michael could help Dex slip into the inner circle. Sonny asks Dex to become the enforcer, but Brick is not satisfied with him just yet. Meanwhile, in another part of town, Brando worries when Sasha cancels her therapy session. He says a few untoward things that upset Sasha.
Things took a swift turn in another part of town during Trina’s trial. Spencer took the stand and confessed to breaking out of prison to be at his mother’s grave. His testimony could be the perfect alibi for Trina, but he would face prison time again.
Brick Wants To Look Into Dex’s Past
In this episode of General Hospital, we saw Michael pretend to fight with Dex. He assured Brando that this issue need not be brought up with Sonny. Later, Dex met Sonny and informed him that he made sure Felty won’t reveal anything. Sonny was scared that Dex was working with the cops, but Dex reassured him that he was not.
Later, Dex met Brick. Brick was not very happy with their meeting. Sonny took the opportunity to tell Dex that it was time he became an enforcer. After all, Jason was the same age when he started. However, Brick questioned Dex’s abilities and wanted to do another background check. Sonny suggested that they should put Dex through a special trial. Further later in the episode, Michael met with Dex and informed him about Brick’s intentions of looking into his past. He thought this was a good sign as that would make Dex an indispensable member of the group.
General Hospital Recap: Sasha And Brando Get Into A Fight
In another part of town, Sasha spoke to Willow, and they shared a heartwarming conversation. They talked about the accident with Harmony, which made Sasha decide to skip her next therapy session. Brando told Sasha to reschedule the session, but she was not in the mood to listen to him or Gladys.
He was disappointed by how their life was falling apart. Brando suggested that someone should always be in control of Sasha. Of course, he apologized right after he said that. Sasha was infuriated by what he said and asked him to leave her alone.
Spencer Makes A Confession In Court
Meanwhile, at Trina’s trial, Spencer was called to the stand in this episode of General Hospital. Trina did not want Spencer to land in trouble, even if that cost her freedom. When called to the stand, Spencer told everyone the truth about how he was with Trina at his mother’s grave when the video was released.
Through his confession, he told the court that he had arranged a prison break to visit his mother’s grave on her death anniversary. This could put him in jail again, but he did not care. Furthermore, in his speech, he also mentioned that he believed it was Esme who made Josslyn’s sex video. The prosecutor cross-examined Spencer, and an email arrived on Diane and the judge’s phone – this was to demonstrate that emails can be scheduled and need not be shared at the moment itself.
After his testimony, Marcus and Portia wanted to know why Trina had not informed them about her alibi. Josslyn praised Spencer for his honesty.
