Social media is on frenzy as rumors break out that actor Marcus Coloma is out of General Hospital. Speculations of Marcus getting fired from the lone standing ABC soap started after some fans noticed that the actor has unfollowed the entire cast and crew of GH on Instagram and Twitter. Interestingly, Marcus had put on his Instagram bio that he plays Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital. As of today, that part is missing from his bio too. So what’s going on? Is Marcus not going to be playing Nik anymore?
Viewers might remember that earlier in November, 2022, actor Adam Huss portrayed Nik on General Hospital. While, even then, there were talks that actor Marcus Coloma has been replaced, but Marcus rubbished the rumor. He cleared the air stating that he had taken time off due to ill health and that he will resume shoot soon. All seemed well after that. The rumors died down just as soon as they had initially started. However, this time round it seems like something is smelling really foul.
Marcus Colomas Worst Fears Come True Of Getting Fired From General Hospital
It is interesting to note that earlier this year, Marcus had graced his General Hospital co-star Maurice Benard’s mental health talk show. There, he opened up about how being fired from GH has been his biggest fear. He confessed that ever since he joined the soap, he has felt like he was not performing well. He feared that the makers would eventually tire of his disappointing act and replace him. We wonder if his worst fears have come true and he has been replaced. Perhaps, the time that other actors filled his shoes made the makers realize that someone else fits the bill better.
It really is hard to say anything at this point in time. It sure is true that he has unfollowed everyone on social media. But can that really be tied to him getting fired from the show?
