A large part of General Hospital in 2023 was dedicated to Sasha’s never-ending tragedies. The poor soul moved on from one torturous situation to another. And for no fault of her own. Thus, it comes as no surprise that the GH fanbase stood united on the fact that she deserves better. More than any other character, she deserves a happily ever after.
Sasha’s portrayer, Sofia Mattson, recently had a chat with Michael Fairman TV, where she finally opened up about Sasha’s ordeal on General Hospital. “I miss Johnny Wactor so much, and Brando, too,” Sofia reflected on the epic love she harbors for her deceased husband. However, it seems like she and Cody are now headed towards a new beginning in romance.
Will We See Sasha And Cody As A Couple On General Hospital?
In some recently aired General Hospital scenes, Sasha and Cody shared some really moving scenes. Where she tries to come to terms with moving on with everything that has happened so far. From losing Brando to becoming the most victimized character of the year on GH. While it must certainly be traumatic for Sasha, it is a different story for Sofia. She confesses that she loved the story. “I love the meaty stuff, so it’s okay,” she asserts.
However, Sofia also added that she is ready to experience some happiness as Sasha on General Hospital. Does that mean there are happier times for her and Cody ahead on the ABC soap? “I am really looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops in 2024,” she reflected. Furthermore, she also added that she loves working with actor Josh Kelly, as he is so “funny and charming and hardworking.” It looks like Sasha really is ready to take the next step with Cody in the land of romance!
And quite honestly, we are not complaining! In fact, we are rooting for them as the next big couple on General Hospital. Cody really did go far and beyond to ensure Sasha’s safety and well being. Moreover, he has the purest intentions for her. In fact, he appears to be the best version of himself when he is with Sasha. And that’s the kind of love she deserves after all the torments she has tackled!
