The latest General Hospital buzz has it, Trevor St. John is joining the soap opera. While it isn’t confirmed what character he would play, General Hospital speculation hint, this could be related to Steve Burton leaving the soap. GH fans know that Steve Burton, who plays the character of Jason Morgan on the soap opera, is leaving the soap. This is all because of the vaccine mandate. While none of the official authorities have confirmed it, GH spoilers suggest that everything is said and done now.
Since Steve Burton is leaving the soap, that doesn’t mean that Jason would die or be written out too. Jason is one of the main characters in General Hospital. So, there is a possibility that GH might recast the character, and if the speculation is to be believed, Trevor St. John comes in as the recast.
While that is a possibility, Soap Opera Spy suggests that there are some other options available for Trevor St. John. GH viewers know that there has been a lot of conversations going on about Jeff Webber coming back. The character was originally played by Richard Dean Anderson, and he will come back to reprise the role. Even if he doesn’t, Trevor is way too young to play the character. However, some spoilers suggest that Jeff might not be the only one from Elizabeth’s family who might be coming back. Liz’s older brother Steve Webber might come back too, and Trevor might play the character.
Not just that, another possibility is that Trevor might come in to play the character of Jonah Gaitlin. Long time GH viewers would recall, Austin Holt’s stepmother Charity Gatlin had a son named Jonah Gaitlin. So, it is possible that Trevor might come back and bring that character to life. Whatever the case might be, General Hospital spoilers suggest that Trevor St. John is coming in to play a character.
