If there is something that all the General Hospital viewers haven’t been able to get over, it is how GH decided to kill Franco Baldwin. It was not only shocking but, at some point, unnecessary. Ever since Franco has gone, all the fans have been hoping he would return. Recently, actor Roger Howarth who played the character of Franco opened up about this and revealed what could happen.
A few days ago, a GH fan event took place where Roger made an appearance and decided to answer all of the fans’ questions regarding everything. During the same event, someone asked him if he would come back as Franco? They suggested the possibility that Franco might be alive and would return. Since this is a soap opera and people coming back from the dead isn’t uncommon, something like that could happen?
Responding to the answer, the actor says that if General Hospital writers were to bring Franco back, it would be great. He says that he really really enjoyed playing the character. He reflected on the work he had done with his co-stars. The actor pointed out how he loved the story and everything about it.
Given how Howarth would like to play the character again, would GH do something like that? Roger is currently playing the character of Austin on the soap opera, and we are enjoying him very much. But, since this is a soap, Roger can very easily play both the characters and bring back Franco. What would happen if we came to know that Austin is somehow connected to Franco? It would be a twist that would blow our minds off.
We love seeing Roger Howarth as Austin. But it would get even better if he were to also return as Franco. That would add a lot of twists and turns to the story, and it would be a lot of fun to watch. Would General Hospital do something like that? We will have to wait to know. GH airs on ABC all weekdays. Don’t miss the action.
