The latest General Hospital spoilers suggest that things will become worse for Carly and Sonny before they get any better. It looks like Carly will start finding it very hard to let go of the bond Nina and Sonny share, and all of it will start taking a toll on her.
While Carly has asked for time and space from Sonny, she has been trying to get over it. However, she might not be able to do so. And then she would only see one resort to it all. Carly Is Finding It Hard To Move On
General Hospital viewers who have been keeping up with the soap know that Carly is finding it very difficult to move on from the fact that Sonny fell in love with Nina. While we wouldn’t say she isn’t trying, it is just very difficult for her.
The preview video for the week of January 31, 2022, sees Carly, furious and in tears as she tells Michael that “they” are still a thing. This “they” in Carly’s statement is probably Nina and Sonny’s relationship. So, that is something that is causing Carly a lot of pain. It is likely that she will do something about it in the upcoming days.
General Hospital spoilers for the week of February 7-11, 2022, also suggest that Carly will make a tough decision. So, would she end up asking Sonny for divorce? Given how she hasn’t been able to move past Sonny and Nina’s equation, it is possible that Carly might think that it would be for the best if she leaves Sonny and move on with her life. After Carly has broken up with Sonny and tries to move on, she surely will need someone. While her kids and family will be around her, it wouldn’t fill that void. If Jason had been still alive and in Port Charles, we would have imagined that Carly would lean on him. However, since Jason isn’t around anymore, it looks like the next best option will be Drew Cain.
Not only is Drew Jason’s twin brother, but he has also been trying to help Carly. GH viewers would recall he had tried to be there for Carly when she had her recent breakdown. Additionally, General Hospital spoilers for February 1, 2022, reveal that Carly and Drew will have some bonding sessions in the upcoming episode. So, could GH be trying to bring the two of them together? It looks like so.
While we wouldn’t put the two of them in the romantic category just yet, it is possible that they have become friends for now. However, keeping romance past these characters isn’t something we will do either.
