General Hospital

It has almost been more than two decades since viewers last saw Marisa Ramirez as Gia Campbell on General Hospital. However, it looks like Ramirez hasn’t forgotten her experience in the soap opera. In an interview with PopCulture, she recently revealed that she would be more than happy to be a part of General Hospital again. She says that California is her home. Her family is there; her heart is in California. So, if she ever gets a chance to go back to California, she would be more than happy.

Ramirez also pointed out that she had an amazing time at General Hospital. It was a beautiful experience, and she met some very amazing people there. She says that nobody knows what could happen. So, she is open to anything. But she will be where she is a little longer. So, viewers will see what happens. Right now, Ramirez is playing the character of Maria Baez on the CBS primetime drama Blue Bloods. The show is filmed in New York City.

Marisa first came to Port Charles at the beginning of 2002. She played the character of Gia Campbell, who was Marcus Taggert’s sister. In her time on GH, Gia became a part of Port Charles’s younger set of characters. First, she got involved with Nikolas Cassadine. Then, she also grew closer to Zander Smith but couldn’t compete with Emily Quartermaine and left for her law school. After General Hospital, Ramirez was also a part of The Young and the Restless, where she played the role of Carmen Mesta. Later on, she became a part of various primetime tv shows like Miracles, Mental, Spartacus: Gods of The Arena, Body of Proof, among others.

With Taggert back in Port Charles, Could Gia come back too? It is indeed possible. Now that Ava and Nikolas are parting ways, it is possible that Gia might come in and become the new lady in Nikolas’s life. After all, they were a thing in the past.
