It has been a few heartbeats since General Hospital alum Wes Ramsey graced the TV screen. The tremendously talented actor portrayed the role of the big bad villain, Peter August, on the ABC sudser. From the very minute he stepped in, he became an instant hit with the fans. However, Wes’s run as Peter came to an end when he died in Anna’s arms in February 2022. Wes’s fans have since then missed watching him on General Hospital. But we have some exciting news for them! Actor Wes Ramsey is all set to return o the screen!
The General Hospital alum announced that he has started work on an exciting project. Unfortunately, though, he is not returning to GH as Peter. But hey, at least we’ll get to see him on screen again! Wes made the announcement on his official Instagram handle, alongside a photograph. Before we say anything else, can we please take a minute to address that he looks like such a snacc in the snapshot! He is dressed in a big warm coat, dark sunnies, and an ever-so-bright smile!
In the caption, Wes says that he is having an adventure on location in the beautiful wilderness of Vermont. Furthermore. The General Hospital star added, “Doing what you love will always inspire gratitude for what remains still in this life.” He finished it off with the hashtag still here and still dreaming. Fans were super excited with the news of Wes’ new project! They flocked to his comments section to congratulate him and send their best wishes for the new project.
In fact, not just Wes Ramsey’s fans but even his General Hospital co-stars took notice of his announcement. Actress Laura Wright (Carly) rightly wrote that her “baby” is a rockstar! Actor Cameron Mathison also extended his wishes to Wes and left a trail of claps in the comments. It was so heartwarming to see that even after being absent for such a long time from the soap, Wes’ fans still miss him on it. A user, Carla Lee, wrote that she loves him and still misses him on GH.
Meanwhile, Juded, 33, says that she is happy to hear about his new project. She added that Wes is a wonderfully talented actor, and she misses seeing him on General Hospital. We can’t help but agree! While Wes hasn’t really shared any details about his new project or role, we are sure it must be something fantastic. We wish Wes Ramsey all the best for his new adventure.
