As per the laws of Louisiana, if a woman is married when she has a baby, the husband is assumed to be the father, even if he isn’t. But Gypsy shared the prenatal paternity test result and it confirmed that there is a 99.9% chance that Ken is the father.
Later, Gypsy Rose provided a massive update about the paternity test scandal. She happily took to her Instagram to reveal that her daughter “Aurora” no longer carries her ex-husband’s surname, “Anderson.” Hence, she was officially an “Urker,” i.e., her current partner’s last name. She talked about how she was “putting in all this effort.” She expressed how there have been people who often ask her what she would do if her daughter Aurora ever asks her about her past when she has grown old. The new reality TV star wanted to know if her daughter would love her and forgive her for what she did in the past. Gypsy expressed her worry about her history clouding her daughter’s mind and ultimately leading to her hatred. She said she’s not a “monster” and didn’t want her little one growing up feeling like she was one. Gypsy talked about families with deep dark secrets and having skeleton in her closet.
She continued that in such families the kids end up disowning the people with those secrets and also hate them and resent them while growing up. Gypsy didn’t want such a thing to happen to her family. The celeb revealed that she felt like she was developing her own idea of what a mother is based on the emotions she has for her own daughter.
Gypsy said she didn’t realize how much it would affect her until she had her daughter and was holding her. Then, she started to understand how wrong it was and how wronged she felt by her mom for doing that. People know that as Dee Dee Blanchard raised her Gypsy was raised being treated for conditions she didn’t even have. So, she couldn’t stand it when her daughter would cry when she would make her a bottle.
