Basically, her life turned topsy-turvy in a way she never thought of. She saw the period showing on television, and her classmates made fun of her.
At that time, Alana was also criticized because fans felt she pretended to snort c0caine during June’s absence. She had no idea how to confront the situation on social media. As a young girl, she lacked empathy from people. Furthermore, she explained that when her mom met her and Pumpkin, they interrogated her. But she showed eagerness to continue with her habits.

June, Alana, Pumpkin, and Jessica spoke with Access Hollywood after the Family Crisis Season 7 premiered on WeTV. When the guest correspondent Emily Orozco asked Pumpkin if she would touch and consume drugs like June, she gave valid reasons not to. She shared that she is reluctant to do it since she experienced the addiction issues firsthand.
Pumpkin elaborated that she has been in bar scenarios where she has seen people using hard drugs around her or been caught with them. At 17, she observed her mom use it in front of her and her sisters. What started with her gradually made her realize it’s problematic for all. So, she doesn’t know how drugs would react now in the body.
Yet, Pumpkin is in no mood to scar her life with drugs of any kind. She revealed that once a month, Mama vapes; otherwise, she has been clean for the last five and a half years. June said she doesn’t smoke or drink alcohol. She feared pill addiction as well since two of her sisters are going through it.
Talking about health problems, the drug use gave to June, she told the host that her vision had been messed up for a long time.
