Little People, Big World, has been on TLC for years now. All the viewers of the show have started loving the show and have gotten used to it. Fans who have been keeping up with the show would be aware that Jacob Roloff, the youngest of all the kids of Matt and Amy, left the show a few years ago. Now he has come forward with allegations of abuse against the producer of the show. How will this affect the upcoming season of Little People, Big World? Will the show get canceled? Keep reading to find out-.

Jacob Roloff Comes Forward With Abuse Accusations

Fans were quite surprised when Jacob chose to leave the show back in 2016. At the time, he explained why he was leaving the show through an Instagram post. However, now, the Roloff family kid has come forward with more reasons why he would never take part in the show. These new reasons have something to do with the alleged abuse from the producer of the reality show.

In a statement, Jacob says that it is much easier to think about a lot of things than to talk about them, via Cheatsheet. Therefore he couldn’t give this disclosure before. He says that because of this delay, he was able to find the fortitude and words. Jacob continued to write that as a child, he now realizes, he was molested by an executive field producer of the Little People, Big World.

He continued to have his own contemplation on the voyeurism that is a part of the entire enterprise of the show. The massive spectacle of pain, drama, and argument. The invasion of everything with a little joy sprinkled over everything. He continues to write that the viewers watch this all with complete disassociation from the complex humans inside the simplistic ‘characters’ that they see on the TV. After the post, Jacob has received a lot of support from the fans and family. Check out the post here-

What is Happening To Little People Big World? Is It Cancelled?

Now that Jacob has come forward with all these allegations against the producer, this would indeed affect Little People Big World. Does that mean that the reality series will be canceled? It does not look like it. Back in November 2020, Amy had posted an Instagram story. There she revealed that they were already filming the next season of Little People, Big World.

Taking onto her social media, Amy said that they have to get tested often in order to keep filming the show. Then, she put another story where she put up the news that she had tested negative. However, Amy made these announcements before Jacob came out with these allegations. So far, it does not looks like the filming is canceled. Recently Amy posted a photo of her and Chris Marek that spoke about the filming.

When Will Little People Big World Season 22 Release?

With Amy revealing that the team is continuing the filming, the big question is, when would the next season of Little People Big World air? TLC has not yet announced the premiere date. However, fans can hope to get some news by the spring of 2021. The last we saw of the series was back in October 2020.

When the next season of reality TV airs, viewers can expect to see Amy in her new life in a new home and with a new fiancé. The previous season saw Amy bidding goodbye to the Roloff farms for good. Now she is all settled in a new space and is preparing for her wedding with Chris. While the couple had to make some changes in their plans because of the pandemic, they are still looking forward to getting married soon.

The upcoming season will also see Matt and his girlfriend Caryn Chandler. They plan to move forward in their lives. Zach Roloff, along with his wife Tori Roloff and their kids, will focus on building their lives further together.
