Since the day he went under the knife for gender-affirming surgery, he has been living openly with a new identity. Many viewers admired the way the reality star didn’t hesitate to talk about things he should be skeptical about.
Jay is brave; otherwise, he wouldn’t have opened up about his life complications that come from OI. He shared on the big platform that he always felt he had a masculine cadence. He shared some pictures of his childhood on screen, clearing the confusion that he had transitioned. The surgery didn’t interfere with his health problems before and after it.
Jay & Pamela: Jay Gets Measured By The Tailor For Wedding Suit Fit!
A preview clip of the upcoming episode of Jay & Pamela showed a tailor taking Jay Manuel’s measurements. He went to a suit store with his father, Raphael, to pick the best suit to wear on his wedding day. Since his size was available only in the kids’ section of clothes, he wanted a custom fit to have a unique personal style.
In the video, Raphael lifted Jay for the shop’s owner and tailor, Tariq, to size him up. Everything humiliated the TLC star because he couldn’t ease the situation. When the tailor asked him if it was where he wore his pants normally, with a tape measure, he said yes with a bittersweet smile.
The scene cuts to Jay telling the cameras that he has no idea whether he puts on his pants starting from the crotch area. His typical sizing is 10 to 12, which doesn’t include dresses for weddings. Previously, he said that he faced challenges during shopping as an adult and that he has no difference with his nephew.
Anyway, Jay joked that the shopping had taken him a lot of time, which frustrated him because he didn’t have dinner. Many fans loved his sense of humor.
