As per the timeline of the current season, Amy Roloff’s wedding is months away. However, the soon-to-be-married couple has already started planning for their big day together. They are set to tie the knots on Matt Roloff’s farm, who is also helping the pair with the preparations of the venue. In the latest episode, Matt and Chris were discussing something about the wedding alongside Amy on the farm. This weird set of “buddies” started teasing the Roloff matriarch. As Matt called his ex-wife and her fiance “lovebirds,” whereas Chris mocked him by saying, “Are you as anxious to get rid of her as her dad is?”
The conversation was light and fun for both Matt and Chris as they went ahead to talk about other plans related to the wedding afterward. The groom-to-be was mentioning how getting married on the farm is more comfortable for him. He thinks that the farm is familiar grounds for him. However, he then went ahead to say, “who knows, we can come up with some great ideas for you and Caryn for the following year”. Matt became uncomfortable almost instantly, even though they laughed off together at the topic.
Moreover, the Little People Big World patriarch quickly changed the topic to avoid discussing his wedding. Fans felt like Chris had accidentally spilled Matt’s secret, which is why he reacted in such an awkward way. Rumors say that this, in fact, might be true because both Matt and Caryn accepted that they have been waiting for Amy to get married first. This is because they don’t want to steal her light. Well, others just shrugged off Chris’s statement thinking that it could just be another one of the jokes between the “buddies”.

Chris explained in the latest episode that he and his wife-to-be didn’t want to make things awkward by inviting Matt and Caryn.
As Matt was sitting beside him, the Little People Big World dad said he had no problems with Amy and Chris’s decision.
