For the last couple of months, Roloff brothers Jeremy and Jacob have kept the fans excited with the fact that they are both having babies soon, with their respective spouses. While the elder brother will have his third child in November 2021, the younger one will welcome his first baby a month after that. While Jeremy and Audrey have already exposed their first two kids on social media, Jacob and Isabel have different plans. They have decided they won’t reveal their son at all.
Jacob recently posted a stunning picture of his wife showing off her baby bump. He revealed his excitement in the caption and said that he couldn’t wait to meet his son. Fans offered many compliments to the couple and congratulated them for the huge news. However, this was when Jacob shocked everyone by suggesting that he does not plan to reveal his son to his fanbase. The former Little People Big World star said in a comment, “Thank you thank you for friendly comments however none of you (online) will ever “see” my son”.
On the other hand, the 24-year dad-to-be added that “it is, specifically, not personal”. A lot of people resonated with the couple’s wish as it’s their right to control the privacy of their newborn baby. In fact, some people even said, “Absolutely understandable. You’re doing what you feel is best for your family.”
Little People Big World: Why Do Isabel & Jacob Want To Hide Their Baby?
While there were many people who were understanding of the couple’s decision, a lot of LPBW fans were upset with this announcement. This is because they had been waiting to see the new Roloff family member for months. As of now, the couple hasn’t specifically revealed a reason behind this tough decision. However, people are assuming that this could be because of Jacob’s bad experience with the limelight and reality television. Towards the end of 2020, the LPBW alum put some molestation allegations on a TLC producer.
As per his statement, the incident happened with him when he was younger. So, fans feel that it could be Jacob’s trauma due to which he wants to keep his baby. However, Isabel further discussed the topic on her Instagram stories. The mom-to-be tagged popular model, Ashley Graham, in her story, who is also expecting a baby. Isabel said that she respects Ashley because she “has kids, honors her journey through motherhood.” However, anyone has “never seen her son’s face and hardly see him at all.”
With this, Isabel said pointed out that “You can share parts of your life online while also keeping some parts private.” The Little People Big World personality seemed to be very influenced by the idea.
