From the very beginning, Matt Roloff told all his kids that they would be living on the farm as adults and taking care of it. Neither Zach nor Jeremy got the chance to take over as their father thought they were not ready to carry on his legacy. By the time finale rolled in, he had put the farm on the market for sale.
