At the beginning of LPBW, Amy and Matt Roloff were partners at everything, especially the farm. As a result, both of them had a share in it. While the patriarch had the south side, his ex-wife had the north side to her name. Alas, they went through with their divorce, and Matt was pushing Amy to sell her side. It turns out that her sons Zach and Jeremy had an interest in buying it off of her. Yet, the new LPBW teaser gives away that Zach’s deal fell apart. Previously, his twin Jeremy had also confirmed not being able to do so.
Apparently, the mother-of-4, Amy Roloff, sold her shares back to her former partner, Matt. Hence, he now owns the entire Roloff Farms. As a result, some viewers were furious at the celebrity for not acting in favor of her kids. However, another side of the fanbase stated that both Zach and Jeremy couldn’t have bought the place together. That’s because the zonal laws state that only one house is permitted per farm plot. As a result, even if the Roloffs twins bought the place together, they would have to stay under the same roof.
Moreover, the brothers couldn’t afford the place individually. Thus, the 57-year-old ended up giving her side back to her former husband. As LPBW viewers had been curious about Matt and Zach Roloff’s “falling out” over the farm deal, TLC teased the situation even more. Apparently, they released another promo hinting more about the farm. It turns out Zach and Tori came to the 60-year-old with an offer for the “north side” of the farm. However, Matt didn’t look so please with it. Hence, he defended himself by stating that his son demanded a part of the farm instead of putting up a proper offer. While he said so, his girlfriend, Caryn, was sitting next to him with a faint smile on her face.
Hence, viewers began to wonder if Caryn had something to do with the father-son duo’s feud. Therefore, they began shunning her in the comments section. While Zach expressed himself by saying his dad wanted to make money off his family instead of carrying on his legacy by giving him some share of the farm.
