With every other episode, Chris Marek has been pushing his future wife, Amy Roloff, to form a friendship with her ex-husband. Well, he mostly wants himself to be friends with the Little People Big World patriarch Matt Roloff. So, Marek often makes plans against Amy’s will to hang out with him and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. The LPBW mom has a bad history with her ex and his current partner. So, she only wants to maintain a formal relationship.
Now that Chris is literally pushing the idea of being friends with Matt, fans have started to speculate that he seems to be obsessed with the TV star. In fact, in the latest episode of the show, Marek even discusses Matt and Caryn’s wedding with Amy. Here’s all you need to know.
LPBW: Chris Wants to Hang Out With Amy’s Ex AGAIN! Fans Think He Is Obsessed With Matt!
When Chris and Amy’s romance started budding up, fans were more than excited. They thought he was a really nice guy and he’d be the perfect choice for her. However, they’ve come to rethink their choice these days. Even though he still seems to be a good guy, there is something really off with him. Well, viewers are still trying to figure it out, but his recent obsession with being friends with Matt Roloff is far more difficult to understand. His future wife is strictly against the idea and has the reasons for it. A lot of people understand that as a 30-year-old marriage could leave some hard feelings, especially if one of them was suspected of cheating.
Amy is also getting a lot of criticism these days for being bitter and rude towards Matt. Besides, she often says negative things about him and has an attitude whenever they hang out. However, Chris is adamant about being friends with his fiance’s ex despite knowing that she is super uncomfortable around him. In an exclusive clip released by PEOPLE, Chris mentions to Amy that he recently talked to Matt. And right off the bat, Amy taunts him saying, “Really? Best buds?” He continues to say that he wants to stop by at Caryn’s place and look at the deck Matt has made for her.
Well, Amy couldn’t hide the fact that she’s uncomfortable about the idea and says, “We’re just like best buddies now. We’re hanging out.” Yet, Chris still asks her if she’s okay with visiting them again. Though still uncomfortable and unsure, Amy eventually agrees. She later explains in her confessional that she’s not a fan of going over to her ex’s girlfriend’s house. Moreover, the LPBW star adds that it feels “a little weird” to her and “a little too close for comfort.”
Little People Big World: Chris & Amy Talk About Matt & Caryn’s Wedding!
Aside from pushing to hang out with the Little People Big World patriarch, Chris also brought out the elephant in the room. He discussed Matt and Caryn’s wedding with Amy in the simplest ways anybody could’ve. In the preview, he mentions to his future wife that he had been talking a little bit about “wedding stuff” with Matt. Marek adds, “So, apparently they’ve kind of talked about it a little bit. He hasn’t officially proposed or anything”. This is when Amy reveals that she thinks that Matt might be “waiting until after our thing.”
Well, the Roloff family head and his current girlfriend Caryn Chandler have previously mentioned that they won’t get married until Amy’s done with her wedding. This is because they don’t want to steal her light. In the video, Chris asks Amy how she feels about the fact that her ex is stalling his own wedding for her. The LPBW mom replies with what everyone would’ve expected her to, saying, “I’m surprised he hasn’t done it yet”. Besides, in her confessional, Amy points out that it doesn’t really matter what she thinks about her ex-husband’s wedding.
The video ends with Chris reminding his future wife, “You’ve moved on to bigger and better things.” With this, the couple breaks out in an awkward laughter.
