The graph of TLC’s popular Little People Big World went from being the most chaotic show to a mundane one lately. Apparently, three out of four Roloff kids had left the show long ago. LPBW: Matt Plans To Turn His Farm Into An Airbnb
The LPBW fans are well aware of the infamous feud, which changed the show’s internal dynamics. Apparently, Zach wanted to purchase a small part of the 100 acres farm and wanted to continue the legacy. But it seems that Matt didn’t think his son was worthy enough for the same and decided to put the farms on the market instead. However, he couldn’t find a potential buyer, so he decided to proceed with his plan B instead. Recently, the LPBW star revealed to ET that he didn’t sell the farms and is working on his second plan now.
The LPBW star further revealed that, as per his plan, a lot of people looked at the Roloff farm. But neither of them could do the long-term commitment of purchasing it and will now have the opportunity to have a short-term rental. Hence, Matt finally accepted that he is considering turning it into an Airbnb. He further added that they’d set up the farm so that families could stay there for a week or less than a week.
He further reveals that for them, maintenance is the scariest part. The LPBW patriarch explains that for him to allow people in his house is really scary. Not only this, but owning the farm and maintaining it is the idea Matt Roloff doesn’t like. In addition to that, he also makes an announcement that he is looking for people who think of the farm as “a labor of love”. Apparently, he is considering hiring temporary tenants to get some pressure off his shoulders.
LPBW: A Move To Bring Back Family Together?
The LPBW fans are well aware that the Roloff kids always wanted to carry on with the legacy by owning the farms. But the patriach never let them have it. However, lately, Matt has been claiming that his new move is to bring back all the kids. Yes, you heard it right! Apparently, in a recent interview, Matt claimed that he always wanted his kids to figure out a way to share the farm collectively. Hence, with his new arrangement, all the Roloff kids can block out time while family members can block out weeks or days to spend time on the farm.
Apparently, it will be like a family timeshare. Matt further agrees that his Plan B is better than his Plan A. Not only this, but the arrangement will have Amy’s contribution as well. Fans know that Amy sold his part of the farms after she decided to part ways with the patriarch. But now the LPBW star is trying to convince his ex-wife to come and give some cooking lessons during the visitor’s stay. Matt also adds that it was Chris Marek’s idea and not his.
