That’s because they find it unfair how he didn’t let his sons Jeremy and Zach take over the farmland. Hence, they don’t feel “pity” for Matt as they are presuming he dug this hole for himself. Since Little People Big World debuted, Matt often talked of how he wanted his kids to run the farm after growing old. However, Zach was quick to comment that his father had put up a “misguided” post and tried his best to seem like a decent person instead of revealing the truth. In fact, he also talked of him manipulating the narrative.
On the other hand, Audrey Roloff, i.e., Jeremy’s wife had shocking revelations too. In fact, this former LPBW couple also had a dream to buy the Roloff Farms. However, they couldn’t do so. But she stated that the duo got “threats” from Jeremy’s family to buy the farm or else they would sell it.
