Anna Cardwell, aka Chickadee, is battling the fourth stage of cancer these days. Mama June, along with her daughters, are trying their best to support their family member. Recently, she revealed that her daughter has started losing hair because of her chemotherapies and the radiation it has. Apparently, Chickadee has a “rare” type of cancer which has changed her look completely. After having two rounds of chemotherapies, her appearance has entirely transformed. Mama June: Anna Shares Her Look After Two Chemotherapies
Anna Cardwell has a “rare and aggressive” type of cancer that happens to “one in one million” people. Mama June revealed that intially it all started with just “back pain.” However, soon a cyst was discovered, and the ordeal began. As per the current scenario, adrenal carcinoma has affected her liver, spleen, and lungs. Hence, amid all this, “chemotherapy” was the best and perhaps the only option for Chickadee. It is a treatment that uses “medicine” to “kill” cancer cells. It is a kind of harsh and painful procedure that has a lot of side effects as well. Usually, cancer patients are uncomfortable with the side effects. But Anna made a brave move and shared her current look.
Anna posted a selfie with her boyfriend, Eldridge Toney. They made weird faces and tried to look enthusiastic and positive. Chickadee covered her head with a blue head scarf. Apparently, losing hair is a side effect of chemotherapy, and Mama June has already revealed that her daughter has “lost” all her hair. Hence, the star kid covered her “bald head.” Her skin which once used to be radiant and shiny, now appeared to be pale and dull. Perhaps it was because of Anaemia which again is a side effect of chemotherapies and results in hemoglobin deficiency.
Mama June: Anna Shares A Crucial Update Amid Cancer Battle
Mama June previously revealed that Anna has already undergone two rounds of chemotherapies. She admitted that the second one was a bit harsh for her daughter and that she would go again for another round soon. Recently, Chickadee herself took to Instagram and shared a crucial update regarding her ongoing battle. She announced that, finally, she was going for the “third” round of chemotherapy. The star kid further acknowledged that though she got a bit sick, her previous day was a good one.
Anna added that “Cracker Barrel” was good going down but not up. She admitted that her chemo sessions are going well and are also working for her. Fans were really happy to know that the treatment’s results were good and the star was getting better. Several viewers wished her luck and assured her that they were constantly praying for her. Many cancer survivors also took to the comment section and encouraged Anna. Someone even claimed that they had survived the same type and are living a healthy life now.
