Shannon shared a video on Facebook where fans watched her preparing a special dish. She posed with a bowl of sausage balls she had made ahead of Anna’s second death anniversary. The mom of three said, “This is one of the last side dishes for Thanksgiving Anna made a few years ago, sitting on my couch.” She further explained that all of Anna’s sisters gathered the ingredients around her bed to help her, as she couldn’t get up due to illness.

In an Instagram Reel, Mama June appeared to say that two years have passed since she and her family were without Anna. She left them, and they are still struggling every day to cope with the loss. For Shannon, losing a child felt like the hardest thing. At 46, she faced what seemed more challenging than her drug addiction.

June never imagined herself having to deal with it. She believed that anyone who has the same story as her would understand her situation a lot better. The WeTV star said she doesn’t always get emotional, but when she starts thinking about her late child, she doesn’t want to do anything. Even the simplest task, waking up, is a daily struggle.

Also, June got mentally drained at times, but she is happy that Anna was the one who brought her family together. Anna had one mission during her last ten months. She wanted to see everyone doing things together, like having dinner, talking to each other, and spending time. Shannon accepted that their family isn’t flawless.

Anna asked them to put their differences aside to make peace for her. As a mom, June is proud of her eldest daughter. She revealed that it’s Kylee’s ninth birthday too.
