Mama June and her boyfriend claim that they have been sober ever since coming out of rehab. But have they really meant what they said? If yes, then why have they called to the courtroom? Let us not run to a conclusion just after hearing the word ‘courtroom.’ This time, it does not mean the same as before.
Mama June: June And Geno Were Anxious Before Going To Court
It’s obvious to be anxious when your bad past once again arrives in front of you. This Friday, Mama June: Road To Redemption saw June Shannon and Geno Doak going to jail. They were called to be in front of the judge. Therefore, the couple prepared themselves and thought of all the worst situations. Geno asked June whether she is okay when they got out of their car in front of the court.
To this, June instantly replied, “Hell no, I’m not.” How can somebody be okay at this moment? June and Geno’s hearts were beating at horse’s speed. They still confirmed that they were clean and had nothing to hide. Both were seen to go inside the courtroom. Sooner, both left with relief on their faces.
Mama June explains what happened inside the courtroom, ‘we got a continuance to the next calendar term.” Well, that was huge happiness. Both rushed to their car and decided to announce the same news to their children and celebrate the happiness.
Mama June And Geno Doak Celebrates One Year Of Soberness
June loves her new way. She loves the change she has seen in herself and her boyfriend. Moreover, she wants to see the same in other people. June Shannon ever shared her dream that one day she will work in a rehab center. She dreams of people seeing coming in total despair and going out of the rehab with full energy.
Mama June also recently shared a picture of her and Geno on Instagram with a long note. In this note, she explains the gratitude of being able to spend one year without any relapse. June mentions how the couple helped a number of other people to deal with their struggling period.
June further goes on to explain how her journey has been rewarding for her. She got the chance to read the mind of other people who have been dealing with the same. She says, “my inbox is always open (for those who are struggling).” June and Geno have really been an inspiration and guiding star for others. However, a few think that Geno will someday bring back June into the addiction life. Well, a few others feel the opposite.
The viewers have seen Geno Doak in both his addictive and sober period. Previously, fans saw him bonding with Honey Boo Boo when Pumpkin converted her room into Ella’s nursery without asking. Geno was seen to step forward to make a new space for him. It was really kind of him. We would like to see more of June and Geno making space in the daughter’s life further.
