Mama June fame Alana aka Honey Boo Boo Thompson took her dive into the world of fame at the tender age of 5. She starred in a beauty pageant show in 2012 named Toddlers and Tiaras. Later, her very own reality TV series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was a big hit. At the time, TLC portrayed her as the boisterous little girl. However recently, she clarified that it’s no longer her current persona.
Mama June Daughter Says Alana And Honey Boo Boo Are Not Same
According to the reality TV star, Alana and Honey Boo Boo are entirely different people. She is known for some pretty sassy phrases on TV. However, according to Alana they no longer represent who she is as a person today. But since they have been out on national television for a long time, they kind of stick around.
It’s difficult how people still expect her to be little Honey Boo Boo which she isn’t anymore. According to Alana, there are a lot of assumptions surrounding her to which she can’t hold any longer. Opening up about her mother, Mama June’s drug abuse, at one point she was clueless about where she would end up. However, now she is proud of herself considering how far she has come. As reported by USAToday, at present, she’s looking forward to becoming the best version of herself even if it means as simple as just having a life.
Honey Boo Boo Looks Incredible in Teen Vogue
The former famous pageant queen stunned everyone with her glam look on Teen Vogue. Of course, fans are used to seeing her in different limelight, but the photo shoot reflected something else. Usually, we have seen her dress in casual attire on reality TV. But the frilly sleeves, bold accessories, bright colors, and pretty silk dresses are some things the reality TV star has picked on for her changed persona.
With an occasional pink or red lip color, Mama June’s daughter rocked different straight and curly hairstyles. It reminded fans of the pageant days. Alana became quite a household name when she starred in Toddlers and Tiaras. But, her career took a different turn when she was six, thanks to her success as a little beauty queen.
Regarding Honey Boo Boo’s future, she wants straight A’s as well as wishes to make money. All in all, she is trying to be the best version of herself. The allrounder reality TV star admitted to her struggles trying to keep up with the kind of lifestyle fame presented her with. After all, she was just a child! Now she is ditching the Honey Boo Boo persona and reclaiming her true identity.
