It also looks like this darkness will derail his relationship with Gabby. Gabby is falling very hard for E.Z., but his mind was somewhere else when the two of them were about to make love. If he is unable to put the past behind him and is unwilling to tell Gabby anything that makes her feel that he trusts her, things might get really dark, and their relationship might be in trouble.
Right now, E.Z. is balancing on a fine line between the good and the bad, and when all of this is over, we will get to see whether he chooses the lighter side or does he goes to the dark side? The main message of the whole arc is that there is no between. It is either good or bad. This storyline will continue in the upcoming episodes of the show.
