MBFFL: How Did William Pass Away?

He won the title of Master’s CrossFit Games champion four times during his career. The post revealed the major information while saying it’s a sad farewell. They also explained what he did before his CrossFit achievements.

Back in 2017, William was first diagnosed with cancer. Despite struggling with health, he never lost hope in living life. He always competed, and one notable instance is his power play in the 2017 Games. According to them, the late My Big Fat Fabulous star had a surgery to remove one of his tumors from his left lung.
The post described the size of William’s tumor as a cantaloupe. Fortunately, in 2018, he returned to his state in the CrossFit Games, finishing in third place. Unfortunately, the tumor grew again, so Whitney’s fitness guru got it eliminated for the second time and qualified for the 2022 round of games.
Powell had to revisit doctors once more to remove chest tumors in 2023. After months of challenging chemotherapy sessions, he was scheduled to return for the final competition for the 2024 CrossFit Open. The writer continued, saying he had left behind a lasting legacy that couldn’t be forgotten. Whitney, in January, noted that she met him 15 years ago and that he changed her life.
