Amber Rachdi of My 600 Lb Life has lost many pounds. She starred in Season 3 of the reality show. Since then, she has maintained her weight-loss journey and has become a fan favorite. She occasionally posts on social media, and in her latest post, she discussed a side effect of weight loss.
Amber has a fun personality. She doesn’t view this side of weight loss negatively. Instead, she is promoting it and discussing how to address it medically. Want to know what she is talking about? Read on to find out.

Amber Rachdi of My 600 Lb Life addressed an online comment on her post. It had been rent-free in her head for days, and she finally decided to address it. The comment talked about deceased cast members of reality TV shows and how they all suffered from mental illness. It also claimed that Amber did not resemble them, as she appeared normal and intelligent. She addressed this, noting that her life is a privilege. She had better care and support.
Amber urged fans not to direct ridicule at people they know from TV. Reality stars only show a polished version of themselves, and most fans have no idea of their authentic selves. If fans can show empathy to Amber, they should extend the same to others. Selective empathy is not fair. Fans cannot and should not decide who deserves their support and empathy.
In a recent post, Amber asks fans if they want to see something weird. My 600 Lb Life star shows off the loose skin on her arms from weight loss, saying, “I’m Batman.” The reality star has lost 470 pounds of fat. However, she did not undergo surgery to remove the loose skin. Now she is left with loose skin as a reminder of all the weight she has lost. She calls them fabulous as she shakes them.

Amber recorded the post with her huskies. She introduced herself as a cast member of Season 3 of My 600 Lb Life. The reality star also addressed how she manages her loose skin. She wears many sleeved garments, so the loose skin isn’t visible. She shows it from different angles and says it’s incredible.
It feels like a squishy toy filled with gel. “Just snip me up like a sewing machine”, she says, tracing the loose skin. Amber enjoys it as she moves it around like a cape, saying, “Batman.” She also talks about skin surgery. But all the quotes she has received are very expensive. Nothing has been below $120,000 for a full course of treatment. Since she cannot afford that, she lives, laughs, and jiggles for now.
Fans left comments in the post. One said she deserved a GoFundMe for the surgery. Another enjoyed her content and said the post made them laugh. More support from fans and netizens with one writing, “Yep, it’s incredible! But the arms look strong under all that skin! Yep, I would say this is an amazing success!” For more My 600 Lb Life updates, follow TV Season & Spoilers.
