Since she did not reach her weight loss goal, Dr. Younan Nowzaradan or Dr. Now denied her qualification for bariatric surgery. He also pointed out that her living situation was not steady enough. By the end of the episode, Dolly weighed 552 lbs. However, despite the setback, Dolly continued to stay in touch with the fans.
Determined to improve her health, Dolly has been documenting her weight loss journey on Instagram since then. Her account is filled with posts showcasing her progress and achievements. However, due to Philip’s abusive nature, Dolly eventually ended up in a homeless shelter. She also lost custody of her child.
While in the shelter, Dolly met a man named Philip, and they quickly got engaged and married. The couple lived in a hotel due to their lack of permanent housing. Later, Dolly informed her fans that she was no longer homeless and had reconnected with her mother. However, in a June 2024 update, Dolly shared that she is still in Texas with Philip.
