The last released episode of NCIS Season 18 was “True Believer.” Solane and Gibbs go on a trip to Afghanistan to save the kidnapped girls. The Taliban abandoned the bus full of girls. Vance gives the green light to both Gibbs and Solane to search for the girls. While helping out the girls in Afghanistan, Solane meets Darya. She has helped him before to cope up with the hardest of times.
However, Darya dies at the hands of the extremist group. Solane is not able to grasp everything all at once. She is freaked out. By the end, Solane decides to stay in Afghanistan to save more such girls. Gibbs and Solane bids goodbye and share the kiss.
