In the 963rd episode of OP, the viewers saw an intense fight between Oden and Edward Newgate, the leader of Whitebeards. Their meeting began with a fight. After that, Oden asked him to join the group. However, Edward denied his request because of his character. Oden throws a chain and covers it throughout one of the Whitebeard’s ship’s parts and sails the waves with Izo. He came to take him back to Kuri.
On the order of Newgate, Marco brought Izo to the ship, where he is fastened. Newgate said to Oden that he would let him be part of his team if he succeeds in being on the other side of the chain after three days.
