Prince William told ITV’s Tom Bradby that he proposed to Kate at a very memorable spot. He revealed, “It is the place my father took my brother and me shortly after our mother died.” So, the royal was thinking out loud about where to propose to Catherine. “I could think of no more fitting place than Kenya to get down on one knee,” Will added.
Moreover, Prince William carried the souvenir in his backpack for three goddamn weeks before asking the big question. The Prince joked, “I knew if this thing disappeared, I’d be in a lot of trouble.” The famous photographer Mario Testino clicked Their official engagement snap at St James’s Palace.
