Emmerdale Star Debunks The Rumors Of His Departure
Emmerdale actor Sam Hall (Samson Dingle) declared that the rumors of his character’s demise after 18 years on the show are FALSE. The 20-year-old actor has been portraying Samson since he was just five years old, and it looks like he is not going anywhere.
Born on-screen in 2006, Samson’s had quite the journey. His mom, Alice, fought cancer during pregnancy, delaying her treatment until after his birth. Then, Sam’s dad, Cain, took the fall for a mercy killing. Now, Samson’s now a dad himself, with baby Esther alongside Amelia Spencer.
Last month, an Emmerdale source confirmed the end of the character, stating, “Sam had a meeting with bosses earlier this month where they broke the news. He’s been left devastated.” It added that some of the cast were quite angry about the decision and even went to talk to bosses about their decision.
The statement said, “The fact that Emmerdale is planning on killing him off means there’ll be no way back for him either. He’s absolutely gutted.’ However, the soap star Sam defied all the rumpus and even teased ‘good stories’ and ‘big stuff ’ on the cards.
