Coronation Street Actress Tina O’Brien Shares Her Character’s State Of Mind
Sarah Platt desperately wants to bring the person she believes is responsible for Lauren Bolton’s missing to justice. Recently, her daughter Bethany’s abuser, Nathan Curtis, made his way back to Coronation Street. And Sarah is sure that Nathan’s past with Bethany surely links him to Lauren.
Tina O’Brien shared with us that her character is ready to do whatever it takes to keep Nathan away from Bethany. She exclaimed, “Sarah is so upset and angry. According to Tina, Nathan is always confronting Sarah and behaving terribly. Also, he has openly declared that he won’t leave Coronation Street.
Now, Sarah feels utterly powerless and devises a plan to remove Nathan from Bethany’s life. The actress shared that Sarah’s plan to offer Nathan money to leave totally backfired. Moreover, she remembers how Bethany fell apart last time because of him and doesn’t want her daughter to feel the need to leave again.

Coronation Street actress reflected with concern that Sarah had never pursued breaking the law. She said, “‘She’s never done anything like this before.” Tina sensed that Sarah was suppressing her fear and anxiety. Currently, she is solely focused on her determination to protect her daughter.
Despite being aware of the illegality of her plan, Sarah’s overwhelming desire to shield Bethany had clouded her judgment. The Coronation Street star acknowledged that Sarah expressed some uncertainty regarding Nathan’s involvement in Lauren’s disappearance.
However, the soap star believed that Sarah felt morally justified in her actions. Furthermore, she mentioned that Sarah harbored significant guilt for being misled about Bethany’s situation and was determined to rectify it in any way possible. Will she succeed?
